“Kol B’Kehila” – Empowering Women Leaders for Social Change

The “Kol B’Kehila” (Voice in the Community) program brings together women of all backgrounds and orientations in a forum for study, discourse and dialogue.

Kol B’Kehila uses Jewish text study and Jewish renewal activities as a platform for empowering women’s leadership, and to initiate community activities that emphasize dialogue and cooperation between various community sectors.

Within this supportive environment, women are encouraged and empowered to become active leaders and agents of change in their communities.

The “Kol B’Kehila”:

• Empowers women to fill community leadership roles as managers and policy makers.

• Initiates Jewish renewal activities for catalyzing social change in communities.

• Uses a community model of collaboration rather than compromise.
